Delhi Police awaits nod to withdraw NEET stir FIRs

Delhi Police sources said on Sunday they will act only after receiving official communication from the Centre to withdraw 15 FIRs registered against NEET paper leak protesters in connection with July 20 violence. Union minister JP Nadda assured the Cockroach Janata Party on Saturday that cases would be dropped and a written assurance provided by Tuesday. The investigation into the alleged larger conspiracy behind the clashes, which injured over 200 police and 70 protesters, will continue.
