Nilekani to lead task force for exam reforms

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appointed Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani to head a high-powered task force to overhaul India's public examination system following the NEET paper leak scandal that led to the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The task force will focus on technology integration and leak-proof measures. The government is also amending the Public Examinations Act to impose stricter penalties and fast-track trials.
