Syria seeks security deal with Israel, president says

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa told Al Jazeera that Damascus is actively pursuing a security deal with Israel involving multiple countries, hoping it could lead to comprehensive peace while maintaining Syria's claim to the occupied Golan Heights. He ruled out military intervention in Lebanon, urging a comprehensive solution there, and warned regional fallout from US-Israel war on Iran. Domestically, he called for removal from US terrorism list and formed a committee on missing persons.
