PM Modi recalls Kargil victory, Diwali tradition

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday remembered the valour and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War, saying they hoisted the flag of victory despite challenging terrain. He highlighted his 25-year tradition of celebrating Diwali with soldiers at the border. Speaking via video conference to participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme, he also praised the MY Bharat platform for connecting youth across the country.
