Australia tribunal backs Israeli siblings' fear of IDF service

An Australian tribunal ruled that three Israeli siblings facing mandatory military conscription have a well-founded fear of persecution for refusing to serve in the IDF due to their political opposition to the Gaza war. The Administrative Review Tribunal found they could face imprisonment as conscientious objectors and granted them the right to reapply for protection visas, noting ICC arrest warrants and UN genocide allegations against Israel.
