Centre forms high-powered task force for NTA exam reforms

The Centre on Sunday appointed a six-member high-powered task force led by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani to recommend reforms for the National Testing Agency (NTA). The panel includes former ISRO chairman S Somnath, ex-IB director Tapan Deka, IIT Madras director V Kamakoti, former chief secretary Anita Karwal, and former road transport secretary Amrit Lal Meena. The move follows the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and aims to enhance transparency and security in national entrance exams.
