LG to remove apps using TVs as secret proxies

LG is suspending webOS apps that secretly route internet traffic through users' TVs, acting after a security report found over 42% of apps contained hidden proxy SDKs. The practice, which turns devices into residential proxy nodes, also affects Samsung's Tizen platform.
