IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti, a member of the high-powered task force formed to reform India's examination system, said fixing accountability across all institutions involved will be a top priority. The six-member panel, headed by Nandan Nilekani, was set up after the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and includes former ISRO chief S Somanath and former IB director Tapan Deka. It will recommend technological and structural changes to make exams leak-proof and transparent.
