Congress MPs seek debate on force against NEET protesters

Congress MPs Randeep Singh Surjewala and Vijay Vasanth moved notices in Parliament on Monday seeking discussions on the alleged excessive use of force, including lathicharge and tear gas, against students protesting NEET-UG irregularities in Delhi on July 20. Surjewala demanded statements from Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on authorization and accountability. Other MPs also sought an independent judicial inquiry.
