Court Reserves Order on Death Penalty for Tahir Hussain

A Delhi court on Monday reserved its order for July 31 on the quantum of sentence for former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain and four others convicted of murdering IB officer Ankit Sharma during the 2020 riots. The Delhi Police sought the death penalty, citing 51 wounds on Sharma's body, 18 from sharp weapons, and continued assault after death.
