First Kenyan NFL player deported under Trump crackdown

Daniel Adongo, the first Kenyan to play in the NFL, was deported in June for overstaying his visa and multiple arrests, including felony intimidation and battery. The former Indianapolis Colts linebacker, who played two seasons, was cut in 2015 following domestic violence allegations. Supporters say he needed mental health treatment and may have CTE, but ICE called him a threat to the community.
