Bindyarani Devi wins bronze at Commonwealth Games 2026

Indian weightlifter Bindyarani Devi won the bronze medal in the women's 58kg event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated her. Bindyarani, who previously won silver at Birmingham 2022, overcame a knee injury to lift a total of 199kg. Her medal is India's sixth at the Games, including one in para powerlifting.
