Assam and Bihar withdraw cases against NEET protestors

The Assam and Bihar governments have announced they will withdraw all cases registered against individuals who participated in protests over alleged NEET-UG exam irregularities. Assam had registered five cases and arrested 13 people; Bihar had arrested 355. Both states assured no further legal action and that arrested persons would be released. The decisions follow negotiations with protest representatives and similar actions in other states.
