Babar Azam accepts Test captaincy with all-format condition

Babar Azam accepted Pakistan's Test captaincy on condition of also leading in ODIs and T20Is, sources told Telecom Asia Sport on Monday. The PCB appointed him after Shan Masood lost 12 of 16 Tests since December 2023. Babar, who stepped down from all-format captaincy in 2023, will be given full leadership if the team performs well in upcoming Tests against the West Indies and England.
