Wildfires force 375,000 to flee in France and Spain

Wildfires in France and Spain have forced about 375,000 people to evacuate, with nearly 260,000 fleeing in France and 116,000 in Spain. Tourists describe “apocalyptic” scenes as fires rage near Bordeaux and elsewhere. Another heatwave is expected from Tuesday, with temperatures up to 40C, potentially worsening the blazes.
