Smaller cities close salary gap with metros

Smaller Indian cities are narrowing the salary gap with metros, according to a TeamLease report. Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, and Jaipur posted hikes rivaling or exceeding several metros, driven by manufacturing and industrial growth. Chennai leads metros with 9.7%, while Ahmedabad and Visakhapatnam saw 9.5%.
