Mahasen Faqih and her husband Mohammed Sobeih returned to their destroyed home in Zawtar al-Gharbieh, the first village handed to the Lebanese army under a U.S.-brokered pilot zones agreement between Lebanon and Israel. The couple fled the Israel-Hezbollah war in March. Only about 15 of 500 village families have returned, with nearly half the homes destroyed.
