India, Australia fast-track trade pact, expand nuclear ties

India and Australia agreed to fast-track a comprehensive economic cooperation agreement and a bilateral investment treaty during their third annual summit in Melbourne. Leaders also signed pacts on nuclear energy, critical minerals, and defense, including a joint declaration to boost maritime security. The deals aim to strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and clean energy collaboration.
