Spider-Man film gets UA13+ rating, eight-second scene cut

The CBFC granted 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' a UA13+ certificate after distributors requested the rating. An eight-second titillating sensual scene on public transport was excised, while a three-second scene was permitted. Sources said censorship reports are misleading and the film complies with the Cinematograph Act. The superhero movie releases in India on July 30, a day before global release.
