Sambit Patra rejects Rahul Gandhi's claim of firing at protest

BJP MP Sambit Patra on Wednesday rejected Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's claim that shots were fired at students during a July 20 protest, asserting that no such order was given. Patra accused Gandhi of lying without evidence. Gandhi had alleged Home Minister Amit Shah was either culpable or incompetent over the police action. Patra also criticized Gandhi's reference to three categories of people, calling it baseless.
