Oscar-winning songwriter Glen Hansard dies in crash

Glen Hansard, the Oscar-winning Irish musician known for the film 'Once' and fronting The Frames, died in a motorbike crash in Dublin. He was 56. Hansard won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for 'Falling Slowly' in 2008. Police are appealing for witnesses after the single-vehicle crash in Lucan early Monday. Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin led tributes.
