Civil rights group slams FIR over pro-Khalid posters

The People's Union for Civil Liberties-Karnataka (PUCL-K) criticized Bengaluru police for registering an FIR over posters supporting jailed activists Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam at a July 24 protest, calling the action unconstitutional and a violation of free speech. The FIR, based on a sub-inspector's complaint, alleges the posters were provocative. Police said the investigation continues.
