Next 12 hours ‘decisive’ for Madrid wildfire, Spanish PM says

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said the next 12 hours will be "decisive" for a large wildfire near Madrid, as extreme heat pressures firefighters across southern Europe. The fire, Spain's largest on record, has been contained overnight, but another near València remains out of control. Record-breaking wildfires have burned 42,000 hectares in France, forcing over 330,000 evacuations.
