NASA rescue spacecraft faces control issues

NASA's Swift Boost mission, launched July 3 to extend the life of the aging Swift observatory, is now experiencing attitude control problems. The LINK spacecraft, built by Katalyst Space Technologies, has two of three reaction wheels failing and partial loss of its cold gas thruster system. Mission teams are attempting to regain control using electric propulsion, but the mission's future is uncertain.
