Shaw University to Offer First AI and Moral Agency Doctorate

Shaw University's divinity school will offer a Doctor of Education in Artificial Intelligence and Moral Agency, the first such degree among theological schools. Founded after the Civil War to provide literacy for formerly enslaved people, the historically Black university now aims to probe AI's moral implications. The program, approved by its regional accreditor, awaits final accreditation from the Association of Theological Schools.
