BTS boycotts Grammys over new Asian pop category

K-pop supergroup BTS announced Wednesday they will not submit music for next year's Grammy Awards, protesting the Recording Academy's new Best Asian Pop Music Performance category. The band, whose album ARIRANG was a top contender, said music should not be defined by region or language. Critics say the category sidelines Asian artists instead of integrating them with global peers.
