Ram Temple Trust seized cash before FIR, letter shows

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust recovered nearly Rs 80 lakh in cash from accused of donation theft before an FIR was filed, according to a letter by former general secretary Champat Rai. The accused admitted to the theft and returned the money by June 8. The Trust later requested an SIT, and Rai's letter was treated as his resignation.
