Assam Floods: Death Toll Rises to 78, Over 3 Lakh Affected

The Assam flood death toll has reached 78, with seven districts still submerged. Over 300,000 people and 21,523 hectares of cropland have been impacted across 551 villages. Three new deaths were reported from Sivasagar and Golaghat. The government has dispatched 30 trucks of relief supplies, including food and clothing, to the worst-hit areas, Assam Minister Atul Bora said.
