150-year-overdue book returned to Australian library

A man in Kiama, Australia, returned a copy of "Antiquities of Athens" to the local library after finding it bricked into a fireplace during renovations. The 1858 book was likely borrowed in the 1870s. The overdue fine would be about AU$28,000, but the borrower's identity is lost. The book, water-damaged, will be added to the library's history collection.
