British man jailed in Saudi Arabia over social media posts

Ahmed al-Doush, a British business analyst from Manchester, has been imprisoned in Saudi Arabia since August 2024 over social media posts. Sentenced to 10 years, reduced to 5 on appeal, his health is deteriorating. His wife Amaher Nour pleads for his release, saying their four children are growing up without him. Amnesty International calls him a prisoner of conscience and urges his immediate release.
