Thousands Storm Ceuta from Morocco; Spain Declines Emergency

Thousands of migrants, mostly Moroccans, streamed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta from Morocco on Thursday, prompting local officials to call for a national emergency and army deployment. Spain's interior ministry said it would guarantee border integrity but cannot declare an emergency over migration. The influx recalls a 2021 crisis when over 8,000 entered in two days. Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska will visit Friday.
