Scottish woman found dead in suitcase in Athens

Greek police are investigating whether foul play was involved in the death of Elisabeth-Jane Ross, a 38-year-old Scottish woman whose body was found in a suitcase in an abandoned building in Athens' Kypseli district on 18 July. Ross had arrived from Cyprus and was last seen on 15 July. Toxicology tests are pending, and authorities suspect her mobile phone was used after her death to send misleading messages. The Scottish government and FCDO are providing support.
