Europe's 55 UEFA member associations unanimously voted to boycott all FIFA competitions, including the World Cup, if FIFA proceeds with its plan to sell stakes in its events to private investors. The decision, reached at an emergency virtual meeting, rejects FIFA President Gianni Infantino's proposal to create a commercial subsidiary and offer $40m to federations that back it. The boycott would first affect the Women's Under-20 World Cup in September.
