India to host Brazil in historic football friendly on October 3

The Indian football team will face five-time World Cup winners Brazil in a friendly on October 3 at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, the All India Football Federation announced Thursday. Brazil, currently ranked fifth in the world, are the highest-ranked opponent India have faced since the FIFA World Ranking began.
