Clooneys evacuate French home as wildfire nears

George and Amal Clooney have evacuated their primary residence in Brignoles, southeastern France, as a nearby wildfire burned 130 hectares. The actor, in a letter to the mayor, expressed uncertainty about their home's survival but pledged to remain part of the community and contribute to rebuilding. Some 600 residents were evacuated and four firefighters injured.
