US sanctions Iran's Mahan Air network in China, India, Russia

The US Treasury on Thursday sanctioned six entities and individuals in China, India, Russia, and Iran for supporting Iranian airline Mahan Air, which Washington says transports weapons and IRGC personnel. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said those aiding the network sustain a "terrorist enterprise." The move follows separate sanctions on oil tankers and targets an IRGC-linked group that allegedly collected intelligence on US and Israeli assets.
