Trump says Hamas disarming, Israel withdrawing in Gaza deal

President Donald Trump announced Thursday a deal for Hamas to disarm and Israel to withdraw from Gaza, but neither party confirmed agreement. The phased plan includes disarmament of heavy weapons within 200-350 days, Israeli withdrawal, and deployment of an international force. Skepticism remains as negotiations had stalled over implementation of the second phase of a previous ceasefire.
