Younger Behçet's Patients Show Lower Medication Adherence

A cross-sectional study of 125 patients with Behçet's syndrome found that younger patients were more likely to report suboptimal medication adherence. While overall adherence was generally satisfactory, more than one in five had low adherence on the MMAS-8 scale. Researchers at an Italian tertiary centre suggest routine adherence checks could identify at-risk patients and support age-informed management.
