Indiana Senate leader who defied Trump leaving post

Indiana Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray, a Republican, announced Friday he will give up his leadership position after six GOP incumbents who opposed President Donald Trump's redistricting push lost their primaries. Bray drew Trump's ire in December when he voted against the plan, which failed despite intense lobbying. He will remain in office until 2028 but not as Senate leader. Trump responded on social media, saying Bray had "foolishly led" the chamber.
