SEBI closes proceedings against Religare, Rashmi Saluja

India's market regulator SEBI has closed proceedings against Religare Enterprises, former Executive Chairperson Rashmi Saluja, and five others over alleged non-cooperation during the Burman Group's open offer. The regulator said its June 2024 interim directions were preventive and remedial, serving their purpose after the takeover was completed and control passed to Burman in February 2025. No further regulatory action was warranted.
