Trump threatens to revive fund to pressure GOP holdouts on AG

President Donald Trump said Saturday he would keep Todd Blanche as acting attorney general and push the "Anti-Weaponization Fund" if Republican Sens. John Cornyn and Thom Tillis refuse to confirm Blanche. The two holdouts oppose the nominee over a lawsuit settlement creating a $1.8 billion compensation fund. Trump had declared the fund "dead" Friday, but the Senate Judiciary Committee has rescheduled a vote for Tuesday.
