Uganda beats Ebola as DR Congo crisis deepens

Uganda discharged its last Ebola patient two weeks ago after recording only 20 cases and two deaths, while neighboring DR Congo’s outbreak has become the second-worst on record, with more than 1,500 deaths and faster spread. Ugandan officials credited preparedness and lessons from past outbreaks for containing the disease.
