Author Amish Tripathi defended Gen Z's right to protest, saying every generation has done so, but urged that dissent remain within constitutional limits. Speaking in Pune, he referenced B.R. Ambedkar's 'Grammar of Anarchy' speech. Thousands of students, led by the Cockroach Janta Party, protested the NEET paper leak, and Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned on July 25. Tripathi also called for decolonising history teaching.
