Farmers' Interests Above Politics, Says Karnataka CM in Cauvery Dispute

Karnataka Chief Minister Shivakumar said farmers' interests must come before politics as leaders met to discuss the Cauvery water dispute with Tamil Nadu. At an all-party meeting, he stressed that drinking water should be the highest priority, and said concerns had been conveyed to Union ministers and former chief ministers ahead of upcoming Cauvery Water Regulation Committee and Cauvery Water Management Authority meetings.
