BJP leader slams Tamil Nadu govt over Cauvery water handling

BJP state secretary Vinoj P Selvam criticized the Tamil Nadu government for failing to secure the state's share of Cauvery water, saying the chief minister was busy with 'drone shots and red carpet welcomes' while Delta farmers need water. He urged the government to call a special assembly session or approach the Cauvery Management Board and court. Meanwhile, Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar said Tamil Nadu CM Vijay agreed to postpone his Bengaluru visit amid the dispute, calling it a step toward cordiality.
