BJP slams Akhilesh Yadav over school and Jauhar University claims

Uttar Pradesh BJP leaders on Sunday dismissed Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's allegations that 26,000 government primary schools have been shut and questioned his stance on the proposed demolition at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. Minister Sidharth Nath Singh accused Yadav of spreading lies and recalled SP-era lawlessness, while other ministers defended the government's education record, citing new medical and degree colleges and improved school safety.
