India PE-VC Investments Fall 6% to $20.3 Billion

India's private equity-venture capital investments fell 6% year-on-year to $20.3 billion in January-July, from $21.5 billion a year earlier, data from Venture Intelligence showed. July investments were flat at $3 billion, led by Brookfield's renewable platform Lumara with about $600 million. Despite geopolitical challenges and volatile public markets, investor confidence remains strong, with 756 deals closed. Experts expect full-year deployment to land roughly on par with 2025.
