Noel Tata urges more capital, fewer curbs in education

Tata Trusts chairman Noel Tata said on Sunday that restrictions on for-profit education are discouraging investment in a sector where India needs more world-class institutions. Speaking at IIMBue in Bengaluru, he noted many top students go abroad due to limited seats. He also announced plans to build 40-50 not-for-profit hospitals across India, with a cross-subsidy model for rooms.
