Kerala rain deaths climb to 15, seven missing

Kerala's rain-related death toll has risen to 15, with seven people still missing, Chief Minister V D Satheesan said on Monday. The situation is largely under control except for parts of Pathanamthitta. Over 300 relief camps are sheltering more than 11,000 people, while rescue operations continue. The government announced Rs 8 lakh compensation per deceased's family and urged the public to ignore dam-release rumours.
