Charity cyclist, 82, dies day after completing Australia ride

Bob Montgomery, an 82-year-old charity cyclist, died unexpectedly a day after completing a 3,300-mile ride across Australia with his 18-year-old grandson. The six-week 'One Last Ride' from Broome to Bowral raised about A$105,000 for MND NSW, a cause personal to him after losing a cousin to motor neurone disease. It was his sixth fundraising ride; his family said his passing was peaceful, with wife Jenny at his side.
